Ryder Cup

Last week, Team Europe claimed the 2023 Ryder Cup in style, and what an unbelievably good event it was!

Obviously, as a European fan, it was a great result.

But as a sports and golf fan, it really proved why it’s one of the best sporting events in the world.

A brilliant golf course. Incredible display of golf. Exciting drama.

It really is unlike any other week in golf.

From Patrick Cantlay getting absolutely ripped apart by the European fans all Saturday afternoon, just because of one tweet claiming he isn’t wearing a hat out of protest for not being paid:

To Rory almost getting into a fight in the car park after an incident on the 18th green with Cantlay’s, Joe LaCava:

This Ryder Cup had just about everything and was one of the best I’ve ever witnessed.

Here’s a look at some of the best shots from the week:

The tee shot on the 16th hole from Fleetwood, over water, under the most pressure imaginable, is possibly one of the best I’ve ever seen.

This one from Rory didn’t make the list but it’s hard to even explain just how good this shot was:

The 2023 Ryder Cup was one for the ages and I can’t wait to see all it again in 2025.
