London is full of great things to do, from great bars and pubs to amazing sights and iconic monuments. It’s also home to one of the coolest golf venues in the UK, ideal for working on your game or having a good night with your mates. Pitch London combines golf, with music and alcohol – what’s not to like?
Having recently enjoyed a visit to Pitch London for a night of golf and fun, let’s take a quick look and see if it’s the right place for you.
With that said, here’s our review of Pitch Golf London.
Pitch London Review
Recently I had the chance to visit the Pitch London venue in Soho with a couple of mates. Having recently opened as their flagship venue in the heart of Soho, we were interested to try it out for an evening out.
The great thing about Pitch is it combines two things I love, golf and alcohol. It’s also got its very own DJ who’s there dropping some funky tunes.
Pitch London
The Pitch venue in Soho is a huge space of 8000 sqft, which is hidden down a quiet street. Perfectly situated, it’s right in the heart of a vibrant part of London which gets plenty of footfall.
The Soho offering has a mega 9 golf bays, all of which are kitted out with a couple of GCQuad Launch Monitors and Foresight Sports golf simulators. These are some of the best ball-tracking systems in the world. The simulator allows you to practice, do fun challenges and play some of the best courses in the world. Test your skills and see if you can make par or birdie on the 7th at Pebble Beach.
All the bays also come with full sets of the latest golf equipment in both right and left-handed options. When we went, there was the new lineup from Taylormade with the best technology in golf on offer.
With a large bar at the bottom of the entrance, you can find a drink of choice to enjoy whilst hitting your shots. Plenty of beer, an extensive cocktail menu, and a great choice of soft drinks, means you can stay well hydrated during your session. There’s also the opportunity to have pizza, charcuterie, and more brought to your bay from some top restaurants around Soho.
If you’re not in the sims, there are also great spaces for you to sit and chill to enjoy the atmosphere. Three lounges are available to sit and work or enjoy some drinks with friends or colleagues.
And if you’re looking to work on your game, Pitch also has a selection of top teaching professionals on hand to lend advice and help with your swing. These include ex-tour players Zane Scotland and Rachel Drummond.
Pitch London Pricing
When it comes to pricing, Pitch offers a range of different packages to suit your preferences. Prices start at £48 for an hour booking in off-peak times. This is a price for the bay, so can of course be split between however many people you wish.
For more popular times, prices start at £60 an hour for 1 bay. For better value during peak times, a 2-hour booking will cost you £116 (£58 an hour) and for a 3-hour slot, it will be £164 (~£55 an hour).
Pitch also has some great package options available such as the Play, Eat & Drink package for £120 which gets you a 2-hour bay booking, four house drinks, and a pizza to enjoy.
Pitch London Review
So it all sounds pretty great, but what was it actually like at Pitch London?
Well, it was indeed, pretty great.
First of all, for me, nothing will ever be able to beat actually playing golf on a golf course. It’s the best place in the world to be when the sun’s shining and your out with your mates.
However, there are often times, especially if you work or live in a big city like London when you just can’t get to the golf course. When the days begin to draw in earlier and it gets darker and colder, Pitch is the perfect place to go and practice your game.
The facilities are great, the simulators are really cool and the whole setup is super inviting for golfers of all levels.
Even if you’re not there to work on your swing, Pitch has something to offer for the non-golfer. If you’re looking for a cool date spot or perhaps you need a work social, Pitch is just a really nice spot for a few drinks and a laugh trying to hit a golf ball.
Our Verdict
Overall it’s pretty good value for what you get. There’s been no expense spared with any of the details. So it doesn’t feel unreasonable to be paying about £55 an hour. The golf clubs are the latest and best. The simulator is top of the range. And the whole interior is super fresh.
I loved having the DJ going the whole time we were there, which helped add to the great atmosphere.
Plus it’s also a great way to meet like-minded golfers.
It was honestly one of the most fun nights out I’ve had for a while. If you’re in London (or even if you’re not), Pitch London is well worth the visit for a great night out or a chilled daytime session.

Final Thoughts
Pitch London is open of the hottest places in London for those looking for a fun place to chill out and enjoy some golf.
Having experienced it for myself, I’d have to say it’s a must-visit. Not just if you’re a keen golfer, but also if you’ve never played golf before. You might not even like golf, but there’s still something for you to enjoy.
