Number Three For Kim

Welcome to The Weekly Slice.

Let’s talk golf.

Tour Roundup

PGA Tour

Tom Kim defended his Shriners Children’s Open title on Sunday with a one-shot victory over Adam Hadwin.

The win was his third on the PGA Tour, making him the fourth youngest player in history to achieve this amount of 1st place finishes on the PGA Tour.

It also meant he joined Byron Nelson in becoming only the second player to win the same event in the same season, due to the change in PGA Tour schedule for 2024.

At just 21 years, 3 months and 24 days old, Kim really is one of the most exciting young players in the golfing world.

This week the tour heads to Japan for the Zozo Championship, the scene of Tiger Woods last victory on the PGA Tour.

My pick for the week is Min Woo Lee. Fresh off a victory on the Asian Tour last week, he’s in great form and is more than ready to claim his first win on the PGA Tour.

World of Golf

This week Netflix released a new live event combining some of the best players from the PGA Tour with some of the best drivers in F1.

Something Funny
