Let’s talk golf.

Tour Roundup

PGA Tour

Collin Morikawa broke his two-year dry spell with a commanding triumph, securing his sixth PGA Tour crown with a six-shot lead at the Zozo Championship in Japan.

Having not tasted victory globally since the DP World Tour Championship in November 2021, Morikawa brilliantly overcame a two-stroke disadvantage during the climaxing day at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Chiba.

The double major winner showcased his prowess by registering seven birdies in a flawless 63-round, wrapping up the week at 14 under.

The tour now has a week off, before the final few events in the fall season.

DP World Tour

Adrian Meronk delivered a sensational final-round surge, securing a breathtaking win and his third DP World Tour Championship this season at the Estrella Damm N.A Andalucia Masters.

Facing two bogeys in his first trio of holes, the 30-year-old bounced back impressively, marking his card with two eagles and four birdies in a remarkable six-under 66 round.

This stellar performance put him one stroke ahead of Germany’s Matti Schmid by the week’s end.

Despite being overlooked for a captain’s choice on the European Ryder Cup team recently, Meronk overcame a four-shot gap in an unforgettable Sunday at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande.

This week the tour heads to Doha for the Qatar Masters, the final regular event of the season.

A huge week for many players looking to hold onto their playing rights for the following season.
