Tour Roundup

PGA Tour

Wyndham Clark won the Pebble Beach Pro-Am after bad weather stopped the final round from taking place.

The tournament was supposed to continue on Monday but was cancelled for safety reasons due to strong winds and rain.

Clark was in the lead by one shot after playing three rounds, one of which was an impressive 12-under-par 60 on Saturday.

The storm caused a lot of damage to the golf course and nearby areas, leading to a safety warning.

This meant the tournament had to end early, after only 54 holes, which hasn’t happened since 2016.

This win for Clark adds to what has been a great 12 months for him, which includes winning the U.S. Open last year.

This week the tour heads to Phoenix for the Waste Management Open and the loudest event in golf.

DP World Tour

Dylan Frittelli clinched his first DP World Tour title since 2017 at the Bahrain Championship, marking a significant turnaround after a challenging period in his career.

The South African finished two shots ahead of Zander Lombard and Jesper Svensson, securing victory with a final round of 71 to end 13 under par.

The win was particularly sweet for Frittelli, who had contemplated retirement after a tough year on the PGA Tour, where he struggled in the majority of his starts.

Frittelli’s performance, including a course-record 12-under 60 on Saturday, showcased his skill and mental toughness, overcoming a potential setback early in the final round to secure the win.

The DP World Tour is in Doha this week for the Qatar Masters.
