As the 2023 Masters approaches, we thought it would be interesting to have a look at which golf balls are being carried by the world’s top players at the tournament.
Golf Balls Used At The Masters
Which Is The Most Used Golf Ball At The Masters?
At this year’s Masters tournament, the most used golf ball brand is Titleist. Not surprisingly, The Masters will see over 60% of the players using a Titleist ball of some form.
The number one ball on tour has been the Titleist Pro V1 for many years and is the favored choice for many of the top players, even if they have club deals with other manufacturers.
Last year’s winner and undoubtedly the tournament favourite, Scottie Scheffler, used a Titleist on his way to a three-shot victory over Rory McIlroy.
The next choice is Callaway. Their ball lineup will be used by just over 10% of the playing field, including top players such as Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele.
Next up is Taylormade, who’ll be used by just under 10% of the field. Rory McIlroy will hope to complete the career grand slam in 2023, using a Taylormade golf ball.
What Golf Ball Does Tiger Woods Use?
Tiger Woods has used the Bridgestone TOUR B XS for the last few years. He used this ball when he won the 2019 Masters Championship.
The Bridgestone TOUR B XS golf ball is the spinnier of the balls available from Bridgestone and suits players with a swing speed of over 105 mph.
Tiger trusts this ball and has full confidence in it flying and spinning the amount required for each shot he plays.
